The Colorado Emerging Issues Forum(EIF) is part of a series of policy conferences put on by The Heartland Institute exclusively for elected officials, policy experts, activists, and concernced citizens who want to learn about free-market solutions. We are happy to have the Republican Study Committee of Colorado (RSCC) sponsoring this great event.
Our event takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, at the Denver Marriott Tech Center.Heartland’s Emerging Issues Forums have become an important annual event. Prominent policy experts, including Heartland’s senior fellows, are featured in panel discussions addressing education, energy and environmental policy, health care, and taxes.
The Heartland Institute focuses on free-market solutions to social and economic problems. The goal of the EIF is to give the public insight into problems they are facing and innovative free-market policy ideas that can help solve them. For example, implementation of Obamacare is a major concern for state legislators, as is responding to a huge debt crisis caused by a slow economy, a failing education system, and a legacy of underfunding public employee pensions.
Part of what makes EIFs unique is the willingness of speakers and attendees to explore and discover new solutions, to listen and learn as elected officials and think tank experts share their own knowledge of facts and opportunities.
Tickets are only $50 and includes both breakfast and lunch at the beautiful Denver Marriott Tech Center. Sponsorship opportunities are also available. Space is limited register todayfor these great events!
